A growing list of permaculture projects worldwide
This is the premier place to find out who is doing what, and where, in the permaculture world. You can search for projects by keyword, and/or filter to specific project types. You can even constrain your search by climate zone, so you can find others working in similar conditions as yourself. As you search, you’ll see pins on the world map below appear or disappear to reflect your search results, and you can either browse the project cards or click on map pins to go to individual project profiles.

The Sarasota Permaculture & Transition Meetup is a forum open to all interested parties to learn about and to implement permaculture design concepts. We can provide opportunities for learning and implement sustainability concepts into our lives. We can accomplish this through information sharing, presentations and active participation in projects that will take knowledge, (i.e. that which we bring to the group and that which we learn from others), into the realm of action by engaging participants in the process.

Provides local organically grown, chemical-free organic produce in St. Petersburg and South Pinellas County. We do much more than sell tomatoes. We are: teaching urban farming classes on 2nd & 3rd Saturdays each month; fostering college interns in an urban agricultural setting; encouraging & demonstrating permaculture concepts; promoting seasonal consumption of produce; ensuring that consumers “know their farmers”; introducing new cultural food sources to local consumers; distributing exclusively chemical-free vegetables within St. Petersburg; building a community with volunteers and neighborhood drop site partners.
