The primary purpose of this Meetup group is to support and promote upcoming Permaculture Experiential Education Courses and related workshops, which The Permaculture Guild and other permaculture organizations or individuals offer.

The St. Petersburg Permaculture Guild is an organization where interested parties can learn, educate others, and participate in becoming the solution for sustainable living.

The Sarasota Permaculture & Transition Meetup is a forum open to all interested parties to learn about and to implement permaculture design concepts. We can provide opportunities for learning and implement sustainability concepts into our lives. We can accomplish this through information sharing, presentations and active participation in projects that will take knowledge, (i.e. that which we bring to the group and that which we learn from others), into the realm of action by engaging participants in the process.
